401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

Here at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, we believe that saving for your retirement is very important and we have gone to great lengths to help you out as much as possible.

ALL EMPLOYEES, whether full time, part time or even per diem, can contribute to the 401(k) immediately upon hire.

We even have a personal 401(k) representative come to the hospital once a week to individually sit with employees and help them make these important financial decisions.

Here are some important points:

• All employees are eligible
• The company has the option to contribute to your 401k account annually, based upon company profits
• You become vested in any company contributed funds, 20% each year and are
  100% vested after 5 years
• You can sign up at any time
• You can change your deduction at any time
• You can change your investment options at any time
• You can elect to contribute any percentage or dollar amount you want
• You can take a loan from your own account
• Personalized advice and attention available

Remember, with a 401(k) plan, not only are you saving for retirement, but since your deductions are pre-tax, you are lowering your taxable income too.
