As the Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Hospital of Long Beach for the last thirteen years, I have observed the transformation of the healthcare facility from a fine community hospital to a world class medical center serving a vast number of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers' Compensation and private insurance patients.
We specialize in surgeries in general and orthopedic and spine surgeries in particular. The hospital has become a state renowned center for complicated orthopedic and spine procedures. We have had the privilege of implanting the first artificial disk in the Long Beach area.
All of our employees as well as myself, welcome our community in need of up-to-date, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient healthcare services in our state-of-the-art modern facility. From emergency services to intensive care, we strive to provide comfort, recovery from pain and illness as well as acute rehabilitation.

OUR HISTORY
Pacific Hospital of Long Beach is a full-service, teaching hospital with 184 licensed acute care beds.
We are fully accredited and have all the innovative technology that is expected of a medical center but with an important difference.
Our environment is small enough to assure patients of calm, homelike surroundings while providing a capable, professional staff. The result is a perfect blend of sensitivity and technology.

With our new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system we are staying above the curve when it comes to blending excellent health care and start of the art technology.
An Electronic Medical Record is a secured electronic file of patient history, medical transcription notes, billing information, and all other information necessary to have a complete patient profile.
The EMR System allows us many benefits including increased efficiency for our staff and more security for our patients information.
