JIRI A. KONECNY, D.O
Chief Of Staff
Dr. Konecny is the new elected Chief of Staff for the term 2012-2013. In July 2004, he was appointed as member of the medical staff with clinical privileges in Thoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery. He completed his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1991. His rotating internship was completed at PHLB in 1992, General Surgery from Peninsula Hospital Center in New York in 1999, and successfully completed his fellowship training program in Thoracic/Cardiovascular surgery from Deborah Heart & Lung Center in New Jersey in 1999.
He is Board Certified in Thoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery from the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery in 2004. He was conferred by the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons as FACOS (Fellow of American College of Osteopathic Surgeons) for his demonstration of commitment to the practice of surgery, surgical teaching, authorship of professional papers, and participation in local state, and national organizations, and for adhering to the professional and ethical standards.
