Our Friendly Staff Compliments Your Road to Recovery
Assisting an orthopedic patient to regain function starting day 1 after surgery, helping a stroke patient "re-learn" daily tasks in order to be self-sufficient, determining the food type/ consistency that is safe for a patient to consume after suffering a medical setback, giving instructions for a home program post-discharge: These are just a few examples of the duties performed by the Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy staff at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach.
Our mission is to assist our patients to restore function after a surgery, illness, injury, or medical setback.
We do this by providing care tailored to our patient's specific needs.
Each patient who is referred to Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapy receives a thorough evaluation by a licensed therapist for that discipline. A treatment plan is implemented based upon the recommendations from the referring physician and the findings of the evaluation.
Speech and Occupational Therapy Services are provided for Inpatients (as referred by the Physician).
Physical Therapy is available for both Inpatients and Outpatients, as referred by the Physician. Our 1-on-1 care contributes to positive outcomes for our patients to achieve their individual goals. We are an exercise-based clinic, with attention to getting the patient “moving” in order to make functional gains, restore range of motion, and to build strength and endurance.

HOURS
Outpatient Physical Therapy:
Monday - Friday, 8:15a to 4:45p
Inpatient Therapy:
Monday - Friday, 8:15a to 4:45p
Saturday, 8:30a to 12:30p
Sunday hours vary based on case load.
