Pharmaceutical Services

Dedicated to HelP You Heal Safely

Inpatient Pharmacy services provide pharmaceutical care to patients and promote evidence-based medication therapy.

Pharmacy works closely with Medical and house staff, Nursing Services, Food/Nutrition Services, Infection Control, Laboratory and Quality Management teams to improve medication and patient safety.


AVAILABLE SERVICES

Medication distribution/preparation:

  • Unit dose dispensing
  • IV admixtures
  • Chemotherapy

Clinical services:

  • Individualized clinical dosing for high risk medications
  • Enhancing nutritional needs in high risk patients
  • Medication therapy review to prevent adverse outcomes
  • Education services for health care providers
  • Monitoring medication usage throughout the hospital
  • Implementing best practices for medication therapy
  • Providing drug information to clinicians
