Pacific Hospital of Long Beach has an 8-bed Intensive Care Unit to provide continuous monitoring of the acutely critically ill patient.

The high acuity patients admitted to this unit are cared for by experienced Registered Nurses who have advanced clinical training in critical care and continually update their critical nursing skills.

State-of-the-art monitoring equipment and all new high-tech beds enhance their nursing care.

AVAILABLE SERVICES

• The ICU at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach has a full-time Physician Intensivist who oversees all ICU admissions and is available 24-hours a day.
• Care is provided to all adults 16 and over, including the geriatric patient.
